Join us at Bryn Du Mansion on July 21st for The Orthopedic Foundation Polo Cup
Now in its 2nd year, The Orthopedic Foundation Polo Cup is a fundraiser that features an afternoon of thrilling polo competition in a picturesque setting on the grounds of Bryn Du Mansion in Granville, Ohio. Proceeds from the event support the work of The Orthopedic Foundation, a 501c3 organization dedicated to improving the quality of patient care and medical services through a commitment to research, education and prevention of orthopedic and neurologic disorders.
As a result of the generous sponsors from the 2018 Polo Cup, the Foundation was able to provide ten paid summer internships in a joint initiative with the physicians of OrthoNeuro and the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OUHCOM). The intern program provided OUHCOM students the opportunity to work with highly skilled orthopedic surgeons and neurologists on research studies including studies focused on arthritis. Proceeds from the event also assisted in the funding of the Foundation’s Research Coordinator.
In addition to the polo match on Sunday, July 21st, the Foundation will host a continuing medical education event on Saturday, July 20th. Area healthcare providers will be invited to the 5 hour CME “Research Day” at the Mt. Carmel Center of Education auditorium in nearby New Albany, Ohio, in which Foundation research will be showcased.

Polo is a team sport played on horseback. The objective of polo is to score goals against an opposing team. A point is scored when a player drives a small hard white ball into the opposing team's goal using a long-handled wooden mallet. The modern sport of polo is played on a grass field of 300 by 160 yards. Each team consists of four riders and their polo ponies.
We are requesting a charitable donation of $20/car. VIP Tickets can be purchased for $50/ ticket (includes access to VIP tent- food/drink and champagne for the divot stomp) at the event.
In case of inclimate weather: The event will be held the following Sunday, July 28th.
